There’s an endless list of things to do
Day 1: Tortola, British Virgin Islands
Morning: Arrive at Tortola’s Road Town and board your sailing yacht. After a quick orientation and safety briefing, set sail for your first destination.
Afternoon: Head to Cane Garden Bay. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at a beachside restaurant and spend the afternoon swimming or relaxing on the soft sandy beach.
Evening: Enjoy dinner on board or at one of the local eateries. Don’t miss the vibrant nightlife at the beach bars.
Day 2: Jost Van Dyke, BVI
Morning: Sail to Jost Van Dyke (approximately 1 hour). Anchor at White Bay, known for its stunning beaches.
Afternoon: Swim and snorkel in the crystal-clear waters. Indulge in a famous Painkiller cocktail at the Soggy Dollar Bar.
Evening: Explore the island’s nightlife or enjoy a peaceful dinner on board as you soak in the sunset.
Day 3: Virgin Gorda, BVI
Morning: Depart for Virgin Gorda, anchoring at The Baths. Explore the unique rock formations and enjoy some snorkeling.
Afternoon: Hike through the trails of The Baths National Park and relax on the stunning beaches.
Evening: Head to Spanish Town for dinner at a local restaurant, savoring fresh seafood and Caribbean flavors.
Day 4: Anegada, BVI
Morning: Set sail early for Anegada (approximately 2-3 hours). This flat island is famous for its beautiful beaches and coral reefs.
Afternoon: Rent a scooter to explore the island. Visit Loblolly Bay for swimming and snorkeling, and indulge in a delicious lobster lunch at a beach shack.
Evening: Enjoy a sunset dinner on the beach before heading back to your yacht.
Day 5: St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands
Morning: Depart Anegada and sail to St. Thomas (approximately 4 hours). Arrive in Charlotte Amalie, the capital of the US Virgin Islands.
Afternoon: Spend some time exploring the historic town, shopping for souvenirs, or visiting Blackbeard's Castle.
Evening: Dine at a waterfront restaurant overlooking the harbor, enjoying local cuisine.
Day 6: St. John, US Virgin Islands
Morning: Set sail for St. John (approximately 1 hour). Anchor at Cruz Bay and take a short hike to the Virgin Islands National Park.
Afternoon: Relax on Trunk Bay’s stunning beach and snorkel among vibrant coral reefs.
Evening: Enjoy dinner at one of the charming restaurants in Cruz Bay, soaking in the laid-back island vibe.
Day 7: Return to Tortola
Morning: Begin your return journey to Tortola (approximately 2 hours). Enjoy a leisurely sail while reminiscing about your adventures.
Afternoon: Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for last-minute shopping or a visit to Sage Mountain National Park for breathtaking views.
Evening: Disembark your yacht and bid farewell to the beautiful islands, taking home unforgettable memories of your sailing adventure.
We had an absolute blast!!
Working with Philip to plan our vacation was a pleasure and made the entire planning process easy and fast. Our boat was beautiful and Drew and Melissa were excellent captain and chef couple and added so much to our tripl.
We had a group of 4 couples for my birthday trip and it was fantastic from start to finish. We spent 3 days in Saint Thomas before departing on our 7 day boat charter. We loved all the wildlife and the secret beaches. The chef made great food the entire trip but she made my birthday dinner extra special with multiple courses and the most beautiful cake! Additionally, Captain Jay was a really fun time and even taught a few of us how to sail and how the catamaran works. Can't say enough good things about the trip and thanks to Emerald Sail for making it all come together.
This was our first yacht charter and I can't recommend it enough if you're looking for a unique family vacation. St Thomas and the surrounding islands are beyond beautiful and I was amazed at how much there was to do on our catamaran. Really happy overall.
